Maybe it's a euro thing, but one of the first records I was totally crazy about were these strange 80's Spanish mixtapes called Max Mix which featured, as described online, "cheesy disco-tracks mixed and cut together perfectly" with strange background noises added to the mix. Like la is la bonita mixed with yello and sounds of toilet flushing. Anyone heard these and can get a hold of any?

    Little late in the day i know, but yep, ive heard of them, have them all on CD (13 in the original series) and can let you know more if you are interested.
