    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;Maybe it's a euro thing, but one of the first records I was totally crazy about were these strange 80's Spanish mixtapes called Max Mix which featured, as described online, "cheesy disco-tracks mixed and cut together perfectly" with strange background noises added to the mix. Like la is la bonita mixed with yello and sounds of toilet flushing. Anyone heard these and can get a hold of any?&lt;/div&gt;

Whenever I think of the early 80s, I hear the song "Too Shy(shy hush hush ido wy...to shy shy hush hush idowy)"....Help!&lt;/div&gt;

    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;while heavily medicated for bronchial pneumonia and unable to sleep...Gawain and The Green Knight(with Miles O'Keeffe), The Serpent and The Rainbow, Reform School Girls, The Sword ant the Sorceror, Waxwork II-Lost in Time, The Company of Wolves, Prom Night II-Hello Mary Lou, 976-EVIL II, Jaws III, and The Howling III-the Marsupials. All of these were broadcast on the USA network's "USA-up all night) during the early 1990s, while I was suffering so badly from pneumonia that I could not lay down to sleep. Some of these movies were made in the 1980s...some were so bad I thought I was hallucinating off of my antibiotics!&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;button down cotton shirts, short sleeves rolled up, collar standing up, extra points for brightly colored random graphic print. even better if you had the asymetrical hairstyle where your hair swooped up over one eye and down the other, before settling into the precursor to the mullet-the bi-level haircut. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;i graduated cosmetology school in time to experience the height of the mullet. i became an expert at the mullet. at that time it was known as the Bi-Level. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;i did a few mullets, i admit it. but back then, it was cool. 
&lt;br/&gt;then i stopped, and resolved never to repeat the mullet. 
&lt;br/&gt;then i had someone who requested it. a young college student, a surfer dude. 
&lt;br/&gt;i'm struggling with my vow to never re-create the mullet. yet, it's been requested, and by people willing to pay me 4 times what they paid for the same haircut 18 years ago. ah, the irony of fashion....&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;br/&gt;Also, Alan Thicke--remember him from the 80's???? Well, ya'll may already know this, but just in case.... his son Robyn Thicke has a cd out and I will admit to being a proud owner of it....it's pretty good (modern day funk--kinda sounds like Stevie Wonder at times)...and he's cute!!! I got it last summer and still listening to it......&lt;/div&gt;

    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;so i just got back from coachella. for some reason i was looking forward to seeing the Cure (aka Robert Smith and his ever changing wonder boys). mostly i was thinking about their fun dancy hits, i guess. Robert smith still lives deep in the 80s, with the same hair and a few extra pounds. he has this strange idea that people care about his music (some apparently do) so he graced us with over 90 minutes of less known to obscure cure songs... the only thing that kept us there was the hope that he'll do "love cats". we got some of those hits (done with very little joy) for an encore as we were walking away. bah!&lt;/div&gt;
